About
This program explores the ancient Chinese theory of Wu Yun Liu Qi, also known as the Five Movements and Six Qi. You will examine the cosmological foundations of the system, including how observations of the Big Dipper and the North Star inform our understanding of seasonal shifts. The curriculum details how the Five Movements govern annual patterns through the generating and controlling cycles, as well as how the Six Qi influence the climate throughout the six distinct periods of the year. By studying these natural rhythms and their correspondences to organs, emotions, and elements, you will gain a deeper perspective on how celestial and terrestrial forces shape health and vitality. How it works: Online Portion (self-paced). You'll get instant access to online content that can be read through or listened to (it's about an hour), covering the foundations of the Wu Yun Liu Qi theory, a downloadable companion PDF guide to keep as a reference, and a couple of short quizzes to help the material settle in. Live Webinar. Once you've completed the online portion, you'll join me for a 90-minute live webinar on Saturday, September 12th, at 11:00 am MST. We'll delve deeper into the concepts, work through questions together, and explore how this theory applies in real-world practice. This session will be recorded so you can revisit the material or listen later if you can't attend the live event. The online material should be completed before the webinar so we can make the most of our time together live. The link to the webinar is in the final lesson for the online course.
